Romans 11: 33-36
33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!
34 For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR?
35 Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN?
36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
This is awesome. As Paul closes his explanation of Jew vs. Gentile and the purpose behind it all, he proclaims this doxology, as it is referred to. (I had to look it up, it’s simply a statement of praise).
I love this because it is simple. Sometimes we get caught up in what to say, how to say it, how much to say…and once again we lose focus and start to think that we need to “do it right” in order for it to be acceptable to God.
Nay. the last sentence tells it all: from Him (He is the Creator), through Him (He is the way which all things are possible), and To Him (He is the endall). For sure he deserves the glory. Will you give Him the glory today?
Just reflect on this passage and what it means to you…even words cannot completely explain His Awesomeness.
